Need to get my guards rolled because on full lock (in un-even ground) am getting tyre rub on the top of the guard arch...

Was at tempe tyres the yesterday to get them done and noticed that the front bumper makes up part of that "pumped" look on the guards, will that mean i will have an uneven roll? eg. the metal area of the arch will be rolled, but once you look at the bumper you will notice change in width???

Anybody have any photos of rolled guards on the front of a delsol? cant find anything

This is pretty much what i meant, the front bumper and the actuall guard itself. do they just blend it off when they get to the plastic section?

anybody have any photos of a rolled or lipped front bar? greatly appreciated

it looks exactly the same - they "roll" the inisde of the guard makign more room for the wheel.
Or they can "flare" the guards...

doesnt it push (roll) out the guard a bit??? meaning that it looks different and more bulged & they cant do the plastic bumper...

no doesn't affect the outside shape or it shouldn't. It just bends the piece sticking out towards your rim back flat to the edge.

The front guards are only a single panel unlike the rear with are tripple panel, no one can guarantee that they will not buckle the guard as it's so thin and you need to put a good amount of heat into it to roll properly.

interesting, well what do you reccomend i do to the front guards to stop this edging? im worried that one day it will pull the guard right out and warp it... rolling costs $40 a corner, what about the others and what do they do?

Lip Guards?
Pump Guards?
Roll Guards?
Flaring?

this is for an eg but i doubt its any different for a del sol... if u look underneath u'll notice where the mudguards are screwed to ur guards and at the front just before the front bar u'll see theres a screw fitting there, what they sometimes do is cut ur mud guards and bend that that part of the fender guard up so it doesnt rub any more because on most cars thats the most common place front wheels rub, mine rubs too but only when its in full lock on uneven ground...

it's all the same thing, guard rolling is what i call it, flaring or pumping is actually modifying the guards by stretching them, that way would not be a $40 a corner. PM me or call me at the shop and i can explain in properly for you.
