There was a 4000km old AUSDM ITR front cut for $5000 in Syd ($6000 with seats). perfect cond, mint! They ended up selling the drivetrain out of it for $4000, that's not much more than you would pay for a good B series conversion. Not many people are ready to yank up the skirts of their near new cars for an engine upgrade of that calibre. Mmmm 6spd...... I know if I had a jazz...

yes they started to work on the K24 / K20 frankenstien before the engines were available locally in the States. I remember him telling us (on Honda/Acura forums) they imported them from Japan and wanted to be the first to do it.

Hows this for a Frankenstein engine.....something I thought I would never see, nor had I even thought of.

In Japan, a guy with a Jazz had the 1.3 i-DSi engine, the L13A. He bought a 'big block' L15A with vtec but decided to fit the i-DSi (8 valve, twin spark as opposed to 16 valve for the L15A) head to the L15A block running a Last Station High-lift cam and L15A throttle body all run off an e-Manage.

Those Japs do some strange things....

Unfotunately there doesn't appear to be any results of the outcome - not that I can interpret anyway.
