ok, so we all know H4H bulbs r a bitch 2 find for us LS owners.
i ordered a set of H4 5000k white bulbs of ebay for like $13 the other day, and i figured... hey, got nothin 2 lose.
so ive managed a way 2 put em in2 the LS headlights.
my questions r...
1. is there anything wrong with replacing the H4H with H4 bulbs without any major modifications?
2. if mods r needed, wat would need 2 b done?

theres an article on G2IC about this, but it didnt make much sence 2 me. all i really done was replace the old bulbs with the new 1s, and just locked the latch thingy over it.
cheers

man i tried it but you can never beat the original
save your money and time and buy the real thing H4H only $60 from US
they will have a different offset also
your light may not be as bright as it need to as well

problems with using modified h4 bulbs in a h4h housing.
the h4's sit a little further back than the h4h even after grinding the bottom to make it the same shape as the h4h. Also the h4 has a glare guard which fragments the light instead of having unobstructed light.

but i havnt modified the bulb at all.
wat am i supposed 2 grind?
i realise that the h4h is a little longer, but after checking the lighting, it seems pretty good.

i totally agree that nothing beats the original, but atm im currently saving for an angel eye set, so i tihnk spending $60 would b a bit of a waste especially if i wont b using them for that long.
