Hey guys

It's my first post here so i'd like to start by saying hi to all members off OZHONDA!

Now to my question, I just got a Civic Vi (7th Gen 2001) and i'd like to do some basic mods on it. Currently the car is totally stock and i'm looking at fitting in a CAI with either a K&N replacement element or the FIPK.

Element filter: http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=33-2192
FIPK: http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=57-3513

I did a quick search in the forums and it seems like there aren't that many 7th Gen Civic owners? Anyone know where either of these products would be readily available in Sydney? Also, I don't have the tools nor the expertise to install a DIY CAI so do you Sydneysiders have any place to recommend? What would be the labour charges like for the CAI installation?

Thanks in advance guys!

Injen is dynoproven, also, look for the AEM "v2" CAI pipe... this thing apparently gives you 1psi boost at 100 kmh... on NA engines...

Thanks for the replies guys! I just checked with Rocket Industries and they have the replacement element filter in stock for $87.50. I can't wait any longer so I think i'll go with that first and fit in the CAI later.

Btw, has anyone here removed a 7th gen Civic bumper before?

Well, feel free man :) Everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

Although if given a choice, I wouldn't get the 7th gen. It was passed on to me :D
