Just want to know how everyone cleans their apexi power intake filters. i know they are the dry type so wont be using any solvents or re-oiling.
i have access to an air gun at work - will this damage it?
thanks

^^^^ I don't think an air gun would damage it.

dont use a air gun - it might blow larger dust particles even further into its element -
try using a K+N "recharge" cleanign kit as its the same sort of material used...

i thought apex-i dry filters are maintanence free, all you gotta do is air gun them clean?
I have read that a lot of people remove the filter and basically hose it from the inside
bro do not use a k&n cleaning filter on it......i mean you can but you going to stuff it up....
use a vacummm and get the stuff out or get the airgun and blow inside of filter and it will clean it ......
othervise its maitence freee unless u get sum bigger dirt in there.....

i dont believe you are supposed to clean them. If so you would have recieved instructions when you purchased the item.
