interstate receivers

just wondering if anyone out there knows of any brands of headunits that can pic up signals from other states...

any comments would be appreciated.

Digital Audio Broadcast - DAB. www.dba.org.au JVC and blaupunkt currently have some headunits that supports the standard though there is not much content yet.

vividjazz, you will find that DAB is superior in sound, but the down side to it is range where it can be recieved. there is no hope in hell that it can be recieved interstate :)

They say with DAB that stations will broadcast Australia wide on the same frequency and with more spectrum, more stations. Mind you its been going to happen since 1995.
