While searching some other forums I found a very interesting thread. I got so interesting I read all of the 26 odd pages.

I thought others might be interested and gain some information from it.

Anyway, hope others find it as interesting to read as I did.

Yeah, it is a great read.

I have even spoken with the owner to ask him a few bits and pieces.

Nice read!

Although that carbon fiber hole in the dash is crying out for an LCD ;)

And what is with all the rust, especially along the fuel lines?
The first thing I would have done is treat all the rust before re-assembling the car...

Just to let you all know, I have been in contact with the owner and he says that he will soon be around to registering. In the mean time if you have any questions etc, post them here and he will respond. He thanks for all the kind words so far.

As per some of the above comments he states:
"As far as the comments, a lot of people have told me to go with an in-dash monitor, but that's not my thing anymore. I was going to do it earlier but never got around to it. After that initial thought, my plans changed. As for the rust - the stuff on the Dash is normal. It's untreated metal and if you take apart any Honda they all look like that. For the first 8 years of this car's life it spent it outdoors in Chicago. We have everthing from 100+ Farenheit to -30 Farenheit. The pictures exaggerate the extent of any rust and what was able to be repaired/removed/re-caoted was. If you've ever attempted to take fuel lines down, you'll understand why I didn't with this project! It's not even rust on the fuel lines, it's more like barnacal on a boat. Everything else, like the engine bay has been redone and with the new Wilwood brakes coming, I'm going to retreat the suspension. The underside will get some attention soon enough!"
