when i start my car, no sign of the fuel pump buzzing.... is it the fuel relay????

Could very well be. It was the case with mine.

Take it out and check it the solder.. if there are cracks or breaks in it then its very likely thats your problem. Nothing big or expensive =]

look above and behind the lever for popping the hood open.
