what suspension are u guys using for ur ek sedans out there, i wanna find a well suited one for my sedan
Im running koni yellows + kings on my ek (hatch). i find it very enjoyable and flexible (damper/height adjustable) so its good for daily driving to/from work and also suitable for some tight cornering from time to time ;). also heard good things about d2 coilovers...
You should probably define what your going to use it for and a budget too.
Am using D2s now. Good for its price. 36 adjustable points, and hight adjustable.
Setting to around 5 or less absorbed the bumps pretty well on the lousy roads at Akuna Bay,
10 was perfect for the mountain roads in Tassie and the Old Pacific highway.
Does get abit harsh on crappy Sydney roads.
Never tried more than 10 though.

I wouldnt have thought it would have made that much of a difference - except in maybe the sedan is slightly heavier.
It all depends on budget (which you have mentioned), ride height, comfort/feel etc.

there is no difference with sedan... well atleast there from a manufacturuers point of view.
they come the same rate and part numbers 99% of the time
and you also do the same mods..
The basics suspension setup applies to most hondas..
up rated springs, sway bars front and rear, struts.. then maybe bushing all round, camber, caster...
with a budget of 600-900 just get yourself a good set of springs.. and save the extra cahs for some shocks later.. else get coilovers.
you really havent got much choices you only choice so far is springs and maybe shocks... simply no more options

i got EK9 Shocks + Kings... very good combination that i think is actually BETTER except in terms of non adjustability than Konis in extended hard cornering
just dont underestimate OEM shocks from honda "sports" models... dont go adjustable and pay heaps of dollars unless u NEED to adjust them and KNOW how to adjust them from time to time

Depends who you ask............ there is someone that bought them for his 86, they blew prematurely so decided to take to it with a angle grinder..... the clicker that is supposed to increase the stiffness in the damper was just a knob that clicked. :!:
Look I did not see this with my own eyes so I will reserve my judgement, but there where a few people in the 86 community that where present when they cut it up and saw how it was built.
