Hi All,
I baught myself a 96 Integra GSI about 2 months ago. Since buying it i've noticed when I engage the clutch I hear a 'swoosh' noise... it's hard to describe it exactly, but I guess it kind of sounds like a if u were to hear a bike chain free spinning.
I first noticed this at high revs only, but think i've been hearing it more regularly now.
What do you think??

does your revs increase sometimes and your car's speed doesn't?

i think you might be looking at a thrust bearing mate, if this sound only occurs during the engagement of the clutch!
I had a similar problem with my car, same model/year as yours!
It's not an expensive fix as it is, but if you leave it for to long (like me) you could be looking at a box re-build... thats whe it gets pricey
Have a trusted mechanic look at it and go from there.
Benny.

pull it off and grease the shiz out of the thrust bearing. I had to do it to mine....they just run dry after a while!

If its rough to turn.......you might have to replace it altogether
