Engine temperature gauge in ED??

hey guys
lil problem with my ED i have taken the dash out a long time ago and put it back in and my temp. gauge doesnt work so i took it apart fiddled and put it back together...... it now works but when i turnt he car on it is sitting dead smack int he middle is it spose to start on cold? or is the middle good?
how am i to fix it?

if u start ur car in the morning dood it should be on cold...
if thats not the case then u need a new cluster...
or maybe the needle got twurled around one too many times???
depends how much of iut u took apart...

yea im guessing tha same which way do i spin it to make it go down?

happened to me once,
funny thing was when i turned my headlights on the needle would rise, when i turned it off it went low again
haha

btw: its probably cos i took the dash out 10 times fiddled around like u

yea i took mine out 4 times in a week to fiddle with my new white dials that i made out of photo paper...lol they look the part tho...
