it will still start, however you will have issues.

no IAB etc etc....

Dont do it, it will hurt performance.

yes and yes.

IAB needs to be grounded at rpm activation point and 12V otherwise.

However this is stupid. The motors are two completely different beasts and hence tuned accordingly.
I do not understand why anyone would even ask such a question.

probly not as informed as other ppl and need answers... ? that would be my guess.

DC2R ECU wont output any codes as it will not see the IAB, as its not looking for it. DC2 has all the other things that the ITR has but a JDM ecu will look for an ELD system. so a code there will pop up. a AUDM ECU will not look for the ELD but will have an immobilser.

at the end of the day, both ecu'z have different fuel/ignition trim so its not worth swapping
