Just wondering if there's any ef9 masters out there.
My ef9 ignition coil s*** itself the other day so I went to honda doncaster and ordered another one. Came in the next day but it was the wrong one. So to order another one I had to give the dude the VIN and the engine number for some gay reason. Called me the next day to tell me the numbers don't match or some crap so I gave him the ef9 number and I'm yet to here the score on that. My point is what the hell is the deal with these cars. I don't have a VIN plate on my firewall, the VIN has been stamped into the strut housing thing on the left side of the car with freakin die stamps. Is this normal for imports or whatever? And when it comes to motors why the hell do they have b16a1's and 2's cause the first time I ordered the part I told him it was the 1 so why did the wrong ignition coil come in? Are there more than 1 different types of b16a1's or something? Doesn't that mean they should call them b16a1a's and b16a1b's or something? Also is the ef9 also known as the SIR which means it came with a B16 cause I've got papers for my car saying the motor used to be a d15b and the current motor came out of a 92 CRX (it's got the DOHC VTEC stickers on the doors aswell). How can I tell? Please help. Recomend me a good wrecker or something too thanks. Cheers.
P.S. In case you didn't realise I'm pretty pissed about the whole situation cause my cars immobile, and I don't have my own emergency car.
