oh sorry, i guess ppl have there own reasons and i shouldnt come to jugdement so quikly, but if ur asking on forums u must really like the delsol crx, the only thing about that is that its already too small for one person, and i dont think its wheelchair friendly, but if u have the money u can do anything, i guess.

the del sol came in auto varieties. I don't know if there was an australian spec del sol(you guys got weird speced ones). The jdm del sol SiR did have an available auto option though.

AUDM did not come in Auto

we only ever got DOHC B16a2 MT 4W disc

JDM did come in Auto, just make sure you get yoru self a DOHC rather than SOHC

just a suggestion... if ur willing to go to the trouble u might want to consider getting a AUDM Crx Manual... then buy a 2nd hand b16a2 auto gearbox and mating it to ur car

it'd be expensive sures, but then u got a b16a manual gearbox to sell, and they're worth a bit, at least more than an auto box

I will never understand why you got obd1 b16a2's, when everywhere else(well, at least here in the states and in europe) the obd1 sols had the b16a3 with the b16a2 only being in the obd2 cars

anything is possible, one of my best mates has a skyline with a steering wheel conversion for his hands...

It would be very hard in a crx to do it (No way a porta-wheelchair installation, car is too small)... unless you go for the seated position + arm controllers installed for throttle & gas.

Jesse James did it on monster garage for a kid in this massive SUV... but it was a wheelchair mod (sit in chair, in car)

good luck anyway page... but in all honesty, get the JDM-auto with automatic sunroof, would be a-lot less hassle, and its going to cost a shitload to do the mods, this will help you save a bit in long term...

you can sitll buy a manual car, just install one of these babies.

5zigen twin mode clutch system.

By pressing the button on the shift knob, u can shift into whatever gear.
That butten does the same thing your clutch does.

5Zigen releases the Twin Mode Clutch System aftermarket transmission upgrade that offers the best of both transmission worlds: manual & automatic! Such an interchangeability option in a vehicle is a luxury only offered on production models like Porsche's acclaimed Tiptronic, Alfa Romeo's superb Selespeed, and Mitsubishi's innovative INVECS II. This upgrade option provides a driver an automatic transmission mode while driving in heavy downtown traffic or in a traffic jam. It also allows the driver to switch to a manual transmission (http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1280021&page=106#) mode when driving in suburban town areas or when the driver is attacking the slopes & bends on challenging mountain & canyon roads.
The above is achieved by having an on/off switch on the shift knob. Depressing the switch turns the system on, and the transmission will act like a clutch-less shifter, where each push of the gear knob will raises a gear, and each pull of the gear knob will knock down a gear.
The switch on the gear knob is to activate an actuator connected to the transmission oil pressure (http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1280021&page=106#) line. Actuation is controlled by a motor which mechanically disengage the clutch. Such an action will convert the manual transmission state into a semi-automatic transmission state. The amount of adjustability for clutch cut-off is allowed by the actuating mechanism during the twin mode system's set-up.
The Twin Mode Clutch System comes with a computer-controlled pump that controls the clutch's oil pressure, and cables that are used to actuate the switching system. Control in semi-clutch state is made possible by activating the switch on the gear knob and letting the computer to control the actuation.
As a result, interchangeability between M/T & A/T is made possible by turning on the switch. Gear changes are made by turning of the switch. M/T & A/T are two different transmission systems but with the installation from this kit's computer controlled oil pressure pump to on & off the clutch system, the Twin Mode Clutch System becomes a reality. The computer works by reading driving parameters like vehicle speed, engine RPM, and accelerator, clutch, and brake pedals actuation. The ROM chip in the computer differs according to vehicle model.
