hey guys i was wondering how can u tell if ur car parts are obd1 or obd2??

or is there any other specifications....

check the ECU harness connectors (type , size etc)

OBD1 and OBD2 are emissions standards. Parts are not really OBD1 or OBD2 (depending on what parts your talking about I guess).

This usually refers to the ECU type & emission standard.

obd1 computers come from eg civics, obd2 comes with ek civics.

obd1 uses rom chips(27256)
abd2 uses 32bit square chip.(you know the types with many legs)

okay check to see if harness is small,big,small if so it is obd1
if it is big,small,small it is obd2 (hard to explain)
