to cut it in short... u need heat gun .. or put ur headlights in over and heat up the silicon.... then pull the headlight aparts... beware of the clips.. dun braeak tehm ... then just mask it and paint it.. then silicon them back.. done...
k thanks. yeah i was talking about the taillights but...is that any different? so with the tint spray...ermm...do i spray the inside or outside of the glass? :P
Make them look black?
Buy a can of nightshade, you can get it at any car place. Spray it on the outside of the lights (remove them first), do a few coats to get it pitch black. You can still see the red light through it too when you brake so its legal - I think..

I think that Nightshades stuff is sold "For offroad use only", so make sure before you do it. It can be removed, but it isn't fun.

just make sure your reflectors can still reflect. Other wise its unroadworthy. You might not want to paint over them

Yeah it definately says "For Offroad Use" only on the can.
A mate of mine used this product on his S13...can come up really dark if you want it to.
But im guessing its pretty much illegal too. Just a warning.

yeh they spray is for off road use only ( as stated on the canister) it iz illegal if the tailights are too dark and u are unble to see the reflectors, i tinted my accord tail lights and i emptied the whole can, and the lights turned out black, i had them for about 8 months, then got defected for them on the recent GOR ozhonda cruise...alot of people do it..just of matter of being careful... ;)
orite thanks heaps. mite just think about it for now then...wouldn't wanna make my car unroadworthy now ey? maybe if i don't make it that dark....just a bit darker than stock but so it still adds a bit of character.

^^ Damn they look good! Nice and shiny too, were they just sprayed at the time or did you spray clear coat over them? Because usually it has a very mat finish once dry.
OHH NO
