Hi sorry for asking stupid questions ....

but im about to purchase a Honda Accord VTi 94 ... its my first car :D

i was wondering if it was posible to change the steering wheel... a custom sports one ....

i know there would be issues with the horn and air bag ... but is it posible ??

its possible. but if it comes standard with airbags, then changing to an aftermarket one is technically illegal as you must have the airbag in there
if u change to another steering wheel with an airbag included, then it should be ok. for e.g if u swap to something like a DC5R steering wheel.
make sure u also get a wheel alignment done after u change it

and also, welcome to ozhonda. make an introduction in the INTRODUCTION thread and great purchase on the VTi. Post pics when u have it :thumbsup:

just to clarify, u can install aftermarket steering wheels which come with airbags.
The type R steering wheel on the DC5R arent cheap. but looks the goods IMO.
I remember someone in the traders section was selling them before. do a search on em and u should find what ur looking for :D

me too cam.. i swear.. i hate the non air bag steering wheels.
its too big compared to the air bag ones. which are sturdy as..

if u gonna replace the steering wheel and u have AIRBAGS.
just find a Honda Steering wheel u like with airbags and see if it fits :D
