G'day fellow Hondaphiles,

I'm a noob to OZHonda but not Honda's in general.

I was in an accident in my 01 DC2R and have been paid out by my insurance company so I decided to buy a new VTi-S Jazz (actually gonna head off to the the Dealer today or tomorrow to make a deal)

I know its no R but hey, it'll be fun trying to build up my own Jazz R.

Would it take much to jump the standard 81kw closer to the 95-100kw mark with simple i/h/e mods? (if anyone has already got i/h/e work, what sort of gains did you see?)

I'm not expecting anything close to the driving experience of the R or quick enough to harass the ricers, but just because its small, doesnt mean it cant be fun!

Also, does anyone know what the drive-away price is form the manual VTi-S Jazz?

Cheers,

Welcome to Jazz Club
Simple i/h/e mods my guess would be 5kw-10kw max, can't expect so much without tuning your ECU.

Oh yeah you better go now, they are having there 05 plate clearance now
5yrs warranty and drive away. Probably looking at $22000

So u want you fit to look like this ? :D http://pandafit.web.infoseek.co.jp/baigura3.JPG

Thanks civiceg9.

Nice pics.

I didn't think basic i/h/e would make much gain from the 1.5L. Would a 2' exhaust be too large?

Gains can be had...and they are more substantial than you might think or expect!

The search function is your friend!

The shit has literally hit the fan.

Made a deal for our new Jazz on Saturday, GF and I decide to have a break today.

Unexpected, hell yes.

Bottom line, were gonna split the left-over insurance payout and I'll be on the market for a 80's CRX wedge shape pretty soon.

Funny thing is i've always wanted to get that classic Honda and now fate has provided a solution (a shit solution, but a solution never the less).

I'll let you's know how it went, i may end up spending more time on the CRX forum.

I wish me and my girl could have a break :p

I miss my CRX SiR but it wasn't *annoying female voice* a nice, practical, new car :(
