The simple answer is you have to cut your bumper.

Let me see if I can dig up some instructions for you.

hey got the lights fitted but now the black cover does not fit properly has a lil gap on the top and the hole on the cover and the bold hole on the bracket dont line up?? also got it all working the foggies worked for like 2 mins then now they dont work hooked it all up righ i think?? also should the light switch always have a light on not the one to say its on just so u can see the swith?? should the 2 little brown plugs be pluged into the fuse box if so does it matter what plugs on the fuse box??

Rgds.

Fitment - you might have the left light hooked up to the right side and visa versa. Is the kit genuine? If it is it should all be plug and play - very simple.

What do you mean about the dash lights? They always stay on?

the right is on the right and vise versa. kit is aftermarket got it off 02zzi he got it from the US but it is plug n play same as the genuine kit. its only the light on the foggie switch thats stays on even when i dont have the key in the IGN??

I havent tried mine without having the ignition on. Will try it later and see if it works.

i dont mean that they work wothout power just the light on the swith stays on without keys in the IGN.

If I understand you right - no, it shouldnt do that.

Are we talking underdash or underbonnet?

under dash.there is no wiring that i had to do between inside the car to the front bumper (run wires just connect 3 wires up under the dash.

Hmmm, I am not really sure about why that would be a problem. Did you connect it up like in the OEM install or somewhere/somehow different?

An option might be to take it to an auto electrician (if you cant figure it out) and get them to sort it out.
