Good ol transmission line! The transmission line system is a waveguide system in which the guide reverses the phase of the driver's rear output, thereby reinforcing the frequencies near the driver's Fs. Transmission lines tend to be larger than the other systems, due to the size and length of the line required by the design. The payoff is an extended low-end response and a characteristic sound that's appealing to many.

Do you all need that in english?

Fark its horn loaded, thats gunna pull serious DB. you are running in SPL comps right? What's wrong with a pioneer sub? even if its an entry level, its one of the good entry level subs.

Should be putting 140db ish or maybe less in a hatch. depends..

Nice job on the enclosure. You obviously did some research there which is great to see.

We've done a fair bit of experimenting with different porting techniques over the years. Everything from T/R porting to experimenting with the more complex labyrinth ports. Porting is not always the easiest thing to get right. :)

Back of a falcon wagon if I'm not mistaken.

these were made for the house actually.

I may try them in the station wagon, although, that vehicle is now for sale.

I have a 2X700ish watt house amp, and the pioneers love the abuse... :D

highest that a single 12inch pioneer, in the horn, in the house has metered, is about 133dBs :)

I am working on an SPL car actually... two DD9510's, a single DD Z1, for now... and a Kinetik 2400 battery :)
