my mate screwed his old pioneer head unit gave lots of feedback etc
and he just bought a new panasonic one that was $500 instore and got it for $400
after the install he said that from his old head unit gave not nearly as uch power as it does the new headunit
all that he would have connected if hte rca and the standard power wiring etc
i not to sure whether it would be accurate that buying just a new headunit and leavin same amp and sub regardless of what it is would make such a big difference to over all sound and loudness
correct me if wrong please
cant find the older model but this one was one higher but has pretty much as the same as his old unit http://strathfield.com/images/SimpleProducts/Medium/DEH2750.jpg
