I always have new ideas.lol Im thinking of getting a pc for my car. Its not as crazy as it sounds and its very practical.

Uses include:
Store songs
Store movies
GPS software can be stored on it
Control in car entertainment
Burn cds (dont know why you would in your car.lol)
It would save me buying a DVD deck

Just a couple of questions as im a bit of a newbie with it. Does it use a normal operationg system like windows xp, or is it based on an in car operating system?

Approximetly how much would everything cost and the cost of each part. How much would it be to install?

I dont need a screen as i will be purchasing this seperate. WIll it run of a normal in dash screen?

Thanks :)

I too would be interested in such a thing.. Youd have to build your 'carputer' in a custom case, which could well fit under the passenger seat :)

Surely it would be cheaper to put together your own than buy one previously built?
