View Full Version : TD-04 turbo from WRX ??

Hey guys, im a bit of a n00b, but is a TD04 turbo from a WRX going to be any good for my VTi-R DC2...

Looking at running about 6-9 lbs of boost on stock internals

Saxman if ur out there, any advice.

it's an awfully small turbo with irc some odd flange designs. If you want a smaller turbo, I'd go with soemthing like a t25 instead

have a look on ebay.com.au man there are some good cheap turbo's on there.

i wouldnt bother. yes it would prolly work but after a month or so your gonna want more power.

It's a good turbo for low boost but once you build up that motor it's not going to be enough.

are u in the market for a turbo. you should be able to pick up a BB unit for 500

Exhaust housing is too small and will result in too much heat in a car that revs to 8k
