i think the eg dash is quite.... umm bare and ugly... and.. yeah....

any mods out there? or like new dash? aftermarket dash? interior mods?

its not snug... its just this big rectangular thing in front of you....

You could go for EL gauges which have a white background during the day and paint your needles red.

I believe he refers to the actual DASH itself... not just the gauges or colour scheme.
Dude the EG wasn't made to be a sports car or anything highly flashy... you're not going to get a WRX/200SX style contoured driver hugging racer style dash area in it. I suppose you COULD spend lots of money and get one custom made......
I reckon it looks pretty decent as it is. Just get some nice seats ;)

i thought the EG dash was nice and tidy... nice curves... and the Clusters much the same... not rectangular until you pull it out. maybe your thinking of ED dash.

you could paint it, or have it fibreglassed with custom gauges, speakers stuff like that.... or you could replace the whole dash, but $$$$

Friend of mine has JDM DC2 type R dash in his EG hatchy.. it looks super-trick but apparently he had 4 1/2 nervous breakdowns getting it in and THEN he had to get custome door liners made up that would fill up the gap and line-up the air vents etc comming out the side of the dash..

No, I think they look good at night and crap during the day! Esp if your colouring skills on the needle sucks :P

Mitch M, www.motorware.com.au dont know how much, but you could probably get them somewhere wlse, cybercentury would have them and are usually cheaper.

you could also try going to www.custombezels.com its place in the us that do custom dash and are cheap as.

i mean the whole front area....... like not the gauges etc.... but the front area... vents, air cond etc dials, radio are.... its kinda rectangular and funny old looking.

but i like what custom civic has done.... like... not soo much the colors etc... but at least it looks better then stock....

but joneblaze, i dont want a sports interior, just not so OLD looking lol

spray them, or if you check the USA ebay can get sticker kits for that whole area in different colours, carbon fibre look, chrome look, ect... there pretty cheap.

Once u get the El dials that are blue/green at night and paint the dash surrounds it looks damm nice!

EG interiors dont look old at all!!if your gonna be like that sell your civ buy an Exel and put an F16 fighter jet dash in it! :)

What are you on about? He refers to the dash shape and structure, not stupid lights and dials. The EG dash looks dated. And he doesn't OWN an EG.

if i was gonna keep my car i'd get it remoulded and done in that plastic '2 pac?' mould and painted up shiny as with a monstor tacho moulded in, hell yeah that looks sweet! but yeah i reckon the dash is a lil outdated looking too square shaped!
