you need more capacity. i've got a 2.3L accord. feel free to swap with me. with that extra 300CC, you WILL notice the difference in performance. :)

Increase Torque means increasing displacement

More power you need turbo or supercharge/ NOS

But todaek9 is right you need more $$$ cos all are costly.

If you want stupid torque get a V8

quickly? well take a step back and look at your car. Admire it. Then spend the money on making it sound better if you like. And maybe some new shoes for it to make it orginal.

Dont waste your money on go mods casue you bought the wrong car to be messing with that sort of stuff.

Money is the key...

Damn straight, stuff you air box full of money and you instantly have extra torque.

$100 notes are the best to use, coins just weigh your car down.

what ben said ... ^^
do you want torque to have your self sucked in your seat
do you want toruqe to be in all the rev range (supercharge) or kicks in at certain rpm (turbo)
or do you want to stay NA ... but then your gonna need alot of money for it ...

If you want more NA torque get Hondata k100 and an exhaust to start with. This will give you more low down torque and good top end. The supplier in your state has to tune it, as it is a custom tuned map loaded on to your ecu.

Lightweight rims, strip the interior and the existing torque will become MUCH more noticeable

turbos make torque... superchargers use most of what they make up

we're talking about making more torque... an extra 1-2 ft lbs doesn't count ;)

:p wot i wos saying i cant spell but
an after market 2X cam gears and a run on the dyno
you can retard the cams fore low reving power
OR you can advanece the cams fore more high end power
BUT YOU NEVER NOOOO
tell them to do a fullon dyno tune and make it more torque

you wont get huge torque increases like that. you will get gains but you need to either increase the displacement, compression or go FI if you want a significant increase in torque

Great, retard the inlet/exhaust cams so the pistons smash into the valves for a slight torque increase... great idea :thumbdwn:

Just how many engines have you built??

Thin head gasket and/or check A:F mixtures under load at low rpm, possibly running rich?

Most Honda's are an interference engine, pistons have a habit of smashing into valves

Good reply, im getting sick of the shit that ppl post. The whole first page was of pure crap! Damn post whores! Its for these reasons, ive been posting on Honda-tech lately!

Legit question deserves legit answers!

In response to the question, i would start with a full exhaust, the K20 is quite responsive to mods as far as honda engines go. Secondly, i would think about the throttle body entry, perhaps boring it out or another whole new intake manifold. There are plenty of options, it just depends how far u are will to go finacially!

But seeing its still on warranty, are u sure u wana muck withn that.,
