speaking of grills, i bought a type r grill off ebay and it doesnt have any screw holes in it, the only holes in it are on top of the grill. Could i have got a 96-98 type r grill by accident? because this one does not fit at all, more then likely i think i got ripped off

from yoru profile it says u have a 99 EK which is the facelift version, and you bought a 96-98 grill, which is the prefaced. so yeahh.. either you got ripped or you just didnt do your research :)

no becoz alot of the after market gills dun have the proper screws... plus u dun really need one.... pre or after facelift doesnt matter... the way to put htem on is exactly the same.... u juts slide the bottom bit in and u ll hear a click indicating that its cliped in then jts put the screw on top back in ... it ll be strong enf to hold up .. i ll post pics up if i can find pics of mine... or if u in syd.. and fuss abt it... u can come around and have a look at mine... i ll install it for u.. takes abt 45sec to install... becoz there r no screws at the bottom.. u dun have to take front bar off to install that.. but however.. u OEM one has screw on.. so u still have to take fornt bar off to remove that...
hope that helps

What do you mean, standard face? A stock grill?

I have one, but in red sitting around. Make me a good enough offer and you can have it.
