Used Kmac springs or new

Hey guys jus wanted to know if it is any good using second hand 2.5" kmac springs on my stock dc2 shocks....??? springs 15000k's dun on it?

Would the handling of the car get worse....and would the ride be bumpy and scrape???? dangerous to drive???

OR should i fork out abit more money and get new ones????
or just wait till i have money to get some konis??

any help will be great thanks!

The spring design (rate, linear/progressive, height etc...) are more important consideration in suiting your needs (so long as the KMacs haven't sagged or anything).

As for using with stock shocks, if you are after performance/handling, wait till you can do the job properly with some Konis. Stock will not be able to handle the rebound effectively from a decent bump (when you need it most).

I've seen too many comments made over the years that a certain set of springs are "too bouncy". Springs are only bouncy if the shocks can not handle the spring rate. 2.5" drop requires a lot higher spring rate (and therefore damper rate).

um from personal experience, if u gona get springs put on stock shocks, dun bother with anything lower than 1.5' drop, not only the ride will feel like crap, u gona have to deal more with camber, and tyre scrub etc, with me, i had springs before my konis and i guess it made me appriciate the konis more when i got it

alos, 15000km isnt really anything, so i guess it ok if the springs are relatively cheap, and for the price of installation, it can be from anywhere from $80-$350 depending where u go, and what is included, such as wheel alignment n junk, have fun!
