Problems With Starting / Intake

hi all i purchased a cold air intake and placed it on my car and as in the indturctions reset my ecu but it only had 2 inlets so i placed a t join to merg the 2 pipe but then i took the intake off and put bacck on the stocck wiht a pod filter on the end now when i start my car it runs fine but when i turn it off then go to start it again it strugls to idol and drops down past 1k and some time wont start is it a related isue?

with the t pipe ect you talkign about the small vacume hoses connecting into the intake pipe?

my mate did it on his nissan basically was a crap filter that provided no pressure for the car to start. changed diff pods now fine
i had one in my car similar probs and worked ou the O2 flow meter wassnt connected properally but i doubt its that try anyways/
