View Full Version : EK and possibly other OEM airbox Q?

Hey guys... this might be a stupid question but what the hell is that white spongy layer in the bottom of the airbox?? In the VtiR B16 airbox it is like held in place by what I could only describe as little studs and the white spongy material has a plastic frame around it.... contured to the bottom of the airbox...

So yer WTF is it?? :shock:

it's just another resonator for the airbox..

eh?? you serious?? I was thinking that it was something to do with absorbing moisture/condensation in the airbox :?
