this is a method i have seen in street machen mag
seting up a small turbo to spool up quickly
then feed the small turbo into to a much larger turbo
to create sky high boost levels even at low revs
wot do you think bro makes sens to me
tihs setup wos on a vl turbo holden commo

Might work good on a 3 litre 6 banger but you wont get the same results from a civic.

its not worth it man just buy a single turbo that will come on low and provide enough boost all the way to the moon.

good luck fitting that sorta setup in the engine bay..... there is hardly enough room for one turbo let alone 2!

this would only work well for larger engines, honda's can come on boost pretty early, but its all about the turbo selection

it woldnt be hard to fit a J/R kit + a turbo.
plenty of room
J/R s/c provides plenty of take off power then the turbo take sover at high revs:)

The only reason you'd want to do this is for serious amounts of boost (i.e. 3bar+ since you are cascading pressure ratios). You can pretty much only achieve it with two turbos of the same size due to efficiency differences between a smaller and larger turbo (i.e. the smaller still has to push the same amount of air). You'll also have ludicrous output temperatures, so you'd want your intercooler to be up to scratch.

A yellow EG in brisbane has done this with a H22A i think. He ran 11s? but wasnt streetable, just wheel spin everywhere.

12.85 @ 110 with 1.24 bar boost(assuming that's on slicks) is by no means impressive. Certainly goes to show how unrealistic such a set up is as far as traction is concerned.
