View Full Version : Long or Short wheel nuts?
Im looking for a set of wheel nuts.
I've seen the long and short ones, other then the difference in length and price, are there are pros and cons of using either?
will using the long ones cause the nuts to protrude out?

no difference... some ppl like short and some ppl like longer ones... personally i like the longer ones cos they look more sporty (race look).....
as whether they protude out or not depending on the shape of the rims...

yup no difference for our street cars.
the "long" style has been copied from the circuit racers in Asia , and the long nuts are "easier" to hook onto during quick changes in the pits etc. ( that could be total BS but soudns good to me lol)
So , the "racer" style is a fashion :)

the long ones are also easyer to get vice grips onto for theves to steal your wheels aswel. just one of the con's of having the extended wheel nuts
