As title says:
is it possible and as straight of a swap as a eg6 swap? will the obd conversion wiring be the same when doing a b18c? Just looking into this option as the engine will be newer eg. 98-00 sepc. What would be required for this???

Yes it will be a straight swap. But the OBD is different.

yeh looked at the FAQ, so mounts are same as from eg6? i know the obd is different and dont have a problem converting, also can you use the brakes from the half cut on the eg from the ek? also will the subframe swap into the eg?

No the mounts are not the same. You will need.... rear bracket from dc2 or eg6, passenger side mount and braket, the only one that will bolt right on is the tranmission mount and the 2 front little ones. Wiring from OBD2 to 1 will be a pain in the ass if you don't know what you're doin. Yes you'll be able to use the brakes.

Im pretty sure you can use the EK mounts.

you can use all the EK mounts except the timing belt side top mount, gearbox and rear T bracket is different too.

what you need to do is slap on an OBD1 engine harness and plug straigth into the EG Dash harness with an obd1 vtec ecu

now you've heard it from 2 people that have actually done it do you believe it yet? Don't listen to guys that just think... stuff

You can wire it if you choose, but it'll be a bit of a headach if you don't know your stuff. I would go with what eg5 said, and get an EG6 harness.

If you can get your hands on a EG6 half cut, it would save you alot of headachs as then everything would be direct swap unlike the ek sir.
