but you have to buy the actual cigarette thingo for the lighter socket

cos my stock vti has a flip cover for it only..doesnt come with the plug

yeah a friend has the Belink one and considering it's transmitting just right next to it, you'd expect it to be decent quality...
but because it's using FM station signals, it gets disrupted very easily.
i have the iTrip and it's the same problem...i never use it
becuase my JVC KD-SH707 has an aux input on the headunit itself, it's much better this way

Unfortunately reviews by magazines wether online or paper are strongly influenced by advertising dollars. At best you are always going to be limited by the quality of FM which is noticably poorer than CD or digital radio if you have an even half decent car stereo. Stockers are shockers.

The quality of the transmitter isnt that bad (i have the Belkin one) - its actually very good quality around my 'usual' areas i drive, when i get outside of that i sometimes have to find another station to tune it to as it might get interrupted. For $45 i didnt think it was bad value (hehe got it on sale though!). Its primary use for me was to charge my iPod when i drive as i usually forget to do it at home.

It does have the aux cable thing but i havent figured out where that plugs into for the car, and was avoiding doing it incase of any warranty issues (LOL but now that its out of warranty i might just do it!)
