Hey All, Im sure a lot of you have changed your head unit in your DC2R's, but i pulled the dash apart the other day and went to install mine (a old alpine unit). The screws in the back of the headunit that comes with the car doesnt line up with the aftermarket headunit?! Do you guys know of any ways to overcome this?! Keeping in mine i wanna keep the little pocket underneath the unit! Thanks in advance!

Alpine used to do their own mounting kits for all types of cars i know they have stopped doing them but you could try calling a few places and see if they had an old stock one they wantd to get rid of cheap.

make up a bracket that holds the back of the deck...similar to the standard oem bracket.

cheers guys! didnt particularly want to make a bracket! Does anyone know of a unit that would fit the factory screws without having to mod the harness?
