Hi All,

I came across a Delsol CRX 96 model with a 1.8L VTEC. I rang the dude up (it was his mums car) and asked if tis was the B series motor. He was unsure so i asked if its a twin cam and he said he thinks so.

SO my question is: -

Did Honda release the CRX with a B18 or did they only come with B16's. (there has been no engine conversion done either) or were other engine variants released with a 1.8L.

I think this may be a case of not knowing whether your cars a 1.6 or 1.8 but i could be wrong.

Any thoughts????

If he doesnt know, why did he add it there in first place???
Ask him how did he come up with the 1.8l figure?

if he's unsure means he don't have a clue :P hes not even sure if its a DOHC or not.

There was a dude selling a CRX here in Perth, convincing everyone that it came out with a 1.8L Vtec from the factory... its not the one is it?

Id just go and see it anyway - but unless its been converted it will simply be 1.6l DOHC or even a SOHC (yes - they did come SOHC Vtecs from Singapore).

So my advice is - go look! :)
