crunching sound with koni yellows

just realised after i installed my koni yellows that sometimes when i'm cornering hard or on the street, there seems to be a crunching sound coming from the front left (happens sometimes while turning right but mostly on the left)

i've checked and double checked everything and it looks all good and tightened up fine. i've checked my tyres and no marks on them either.

anyone have any ideas on what might be going on? ANY suggestion would be good, just to get my mind going :)

Some thoughts:

Maybe it is your tyre (check the guard lining as I would assume that you would notice more wear there)
Spring not seated properly?
Front of the car is to low to the ground on sharp corners and is rubbing???
Shock itself is gone?
Sway bar/strut bar etc is loose (if you have one/some)
Not sure if that was any help?

the wheel isnt rubbing on the guard or anything like that?
is it definetly crunching sould it be scraping?
