Bumper bar different between facelift and pre-facelift

I got a mugen kit which contain Front Bar, Side skits, Rear Lip and Rear spolier.
However, I find that the rear lip is actually for the 03-05 EUro which is a bif different to the facelift Euro and I cant even modify to fit in.
Now I am trying to find a 03-05 rear bar to get it install since I dont think Car Request will have the rear lip for 06(although I have quote for a kit for 06 Euro)
Now, I want to ask if the Mugen front bar will fit on a facelift EUro or not

u might as well try honda dept as pple here wont sell their rear bar i dont think
cuz like u said its a mugen rear lip so pple wouldnt have to necessarily change their rear bumper to add that.

i know so I am quite pi$$ed as I ask for a kit for a 06 Euro but CarRequest gave me the pre-faclift kit

the only go is to get the rear bar from wrecker or swap with anyone who want a new model rear bar with me or refund the rear lip and get OEM rear lip or refund the whole kit

Hey Type G - personally I would go with the refund option.

Whilst looking for another grey Euro is an option - you run the risk of the paint not matching perfectly with the rest of the car. It is common to see slight paint deviations between the same coloured cars.

Why don't you just wait until 06 Mugen copy kits are released? It will not take long.

I am not really care if the paint cant match 100% like factory since that's a common thing on getting an aftermarket bodykit.
I will see what wrecker say as if I am lucky enought to get a rear bar since I always like Mugen kit looks (not the new one).
worse option is refund the rear lip and go for the OEM rear lip or get the new mugen rear lip WHEN THEY ARE OUT but I just hope CarRequest will refund me at least the rear lip and notify other 06+ members

well, MY06's stock side strip (not skirt) is already flaring toward outside a little bit when compare with 03-05 model. I am not sure if this will interfere with the fitment of Mugen side skirt.

Not so sure about front bumper. but if the screw holes are at the same spots (most likely they are), then 03-05 front bar should fit on MY06..

Maybe you can ask Honda part department, if 2006 front bumper compatible with 03-05 bar.

oh that's bad since I thought they have just changed the SHAPE of the bumper. I HOPE they still use the same mount
for the side steps, I think we suppose to take the original one off and put the new one in I ASSUME

an update for you guyz
Carrequest has offered me a deal so everything is settle now.
I have got an OEM rear bar for 03 Euro from Honda for $450 and the rear lip is just perfect fitted on the OEM bar and will let you guys know when it is done.

picked up my car after it is kitted
the fittment is just perfect without any modification

highly recommend this supplier since this is the best fittment i ever get from all my previous exp.

Rims and exhuast are on the way. Hopefully to get the rims ASAP since the car is way too low for me now :p
