Hello all,
I have been on P & O Pacific Sun for the last 10 days and stuck in a cyclone in the middle of the Pacific Ocean (for the second time) that’s why this is up so late.
Now, the competition rules, I’m going with a lot of last years rules except:
- Before the first Friday practice of the 2006 GP please select who you think will win the:
· World Drivers Championship
· World Constructors Championship
Each of the above is worth 10 points to your total score at the end of the season.
Another new addition to our competition is picking the fastest lap of the race, this will only be worth 1 point to your total score (at the end of each round).
We will still be picking 1-8 in race order, if you get all 8 correct (which no one has) you get an additional 4 extra points on top of your original 8 points. So you score 12 points in total (13 if you get the fastest lap aswell)
Also introducing the double round, for one round you choose to use your double round and if you get 4 right it goes to 8. You only get one double round so use it wisely.
When you have used your double round an asterisks (*) will appear next to your name on the overall table.
I thought about picking pole position for a while and it seemed to hard to control, I’d have to lock threads at stupid times on Saturday night with I’d be out so I’m thinking we give it a miss.
I’m going to try and organise a prize for the winner, not sure what yet.
I’m in it to knock off the defending champion this year.
