Sorry Guys i know this has come up alot but.

There is a wheel type from a European car that I think would look great on a Euro

Would I be able to fit a 215/45 Rim 17x7 The PCD is 98 x 5

Let me know

Cheers

I dunno about the PCD but 215/45 would be too small since Lux model is 225/45. You could put 225/45 tyres on them though (as long as the PCD was right, not sure what the PCD is ona Euro)

i dun think it will fit since Euro use 5X114.3 which is a BIG different
even Euro use 5X100, i dun think it will fit either

I have 215/45/17 with 17X7 on my car without any problem
but i don't think the PCD will suit our euro

Your speedo would be out then, but maybe you already know that and take that into consideration.

tyre and rim will fit but PCD has to be strictly 5x114.3.
anything with a different PCD will not fit.
Offset wise >+40 would be ideal.

In Japan, Accord Euro R has 215/45/17 from factory. so even though the overall diameter is smaller than 225/45/17, but still within acceptable range.

Sulley is 100% right, if PCD of the rim is not right, those wheels wont fit to your car.. so you must make sure you have PCD 114.3 x 5 for Euro

My car is actually 1% slower on 17s than the 16s.
According to http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
But it doesn't really matter

you can probably get an adapter to suit the wheel you want to purchase.

could someone please explain to me these wheel numbers, or show me a relevant url. eg:
215/45/17

i know 215 means the rubber is 21.5cm wide, but the 45 and 17, i dont know. is this referring to the 'offset', which i dont know either.

45 is the profile, 45% of the tyre width. 17 mean it goes on a 17" rim.

wow, its pretty simple then ey ? thanks :)

then, i suppose what i wil get it:

245/x/18 :D (maybe 235 if 245 is too wide...)

probably bridgestone potenza's

with buddyclub P1 Racing II HyperGold

i hope they fit tho...
