Hey all.. Wanted to check my brake discs thickness to see whether its worth machning or buying new ones. Looking in the service manual it reads...

Front Discs 21.0 (0.83)
Rear Discs 8.0 (0.31)

Does anybody know what measurement this is in or how/where you measure?

Thanks

Yeah measurement is in mm, the tool you use is called a micrometer, you're measuring the thickness of the rotor so basically from one side to the other (the 2 sides which come in contact with the brake pads)...

measure several points on the rotor just in case there's variation in thickness. :)
