Hey all, i posted something similar on another part of this site. But does anyone know if my mates pod setup for his integra gsi '01 will fit my EK4? If i can't use the piping, does anyone know if i can still use his pod filter?

Cheers

Hi, as far as I know, ALL pod filters are universal. So yes however you are correct in assuming that piping is not all universal fit.

u can use the filter.. try just aligning the piping on top of your stock one.. just see if it fits in..

don't know much about the air intake systems but you might need to buy an adaptor fitting from autobarn or supercheap or somewhere similar, so that your pod will fit onto the existing intake piping.

Just not sure on the piping sizes that hondas come with

I see. Ok thnx for the advice, ill go over his place soon and have a look.

Also, is it possible to get the Pod Filter "scream" without actually installing a pod?? Are there other 'budget' ways?

Cut the base of your air box out and install a big @ss 2½ to 3" intake pipe to the front of your car if possible.

If your friend doesn't have abs then i think the piping can fit.

man its not gonna scream too loudly on a NA car thats for sure. You'll probably get more of a sucking sound and maybe a deeper, gruntier engine sound but definately not a scream.

Plum the intake piping up to your face. That'll give you a nice big scream as you put your foot down and your head gets sucked into your engine.

'Performer' mods. Bah.
