H22a turbo questions

hey there guys..

walking along the road of turbo..

here are the things that i am wanting to know..

if i do turbo my stock H22a
wat thing will i need to run a safe low 7psi (stock wastegate preset)

these are the thing i have thought of already


T28 turbo
Custom made manifold
intercooler
intercooler piping
dump pipe +exhaust
greddy e-manage

anything else i am missing??

you will be needing a blowoff valve, larger Injectors, larger fuel pump,

Apparnetly the cylinder walls in the h22s are a little weaker then usuall so you wouldnt be too far away from some sleeves

can i keep the standard injectors and fuel pump for now?

cause. thing is i aint intended to run it at full potential :P

you can probably get away with the stock fuel pump just fine, but larger injectors and a good engine management are key to reliably running a turbo set up. If you're going to cut corners, that is NOT the place to do it.

IMO, if you can't afford the injectors and engine management now, you can't afford a turbo set up now.

also, check out tunertoys.com in the states for injectors.

I think tunertoys stopped bringing out their brand of injectors didnt they? Had a few problems with some of them

perhaps look at a bigger snail for ur setup... GT28R BB or even a T3 BB...

and a bigger turbo. grab a t3 off a skyline atleast :)

just get a descent kit from O/S for about $5-6kaud.. and ur 3/4 the way there

A T3 variant is a much better choice than the 28's.
