I was just wondering, the advantages and disadvantages of the variants, but i dont care for costs, just wanting to know the technical side of it. I know the b16a head has good flow, with the strong b18c block. The type R motor i know is a good motor all around but the reason people dont choose this path is cause of costs, just wondering if there is anything else to take into consideration ?

thanks

oh okay, no i havent skremn, i am in a bit of dilema deciding between a hybrid EG with that motor that revs to 10k, and a civic with a type R motor, so just wondering which might have that extra punch to push over the line to be in my garage.

well you could do infinite things to each option but stock b18cR > stock b18c with stock b16a head. b18cr has the port polish, pistons and a few other bits n pieces

it really comes down to how much you got to fund this project
and have you got a builder?
