i cant open it unless i use the key
and when i use the key.. the alarm goes off and is REALLY LOUD!!! ahah

im not sure what u mean by sensors?
u talking about microwave/ultrasonic sensors?

i dont think that has anything to do with not hearing the siren arm/disarm...
pretty weird if u ask me...

most probably your remote.
when was the last time you changed your battery on it?

its either his sender in his button or the reciever in the alarm. If the light is comin on on your button then it should working 100 percent.

I'd try and have your alarm looked at. Did you situation the alarm unit under the bonnet?? if so try and get to it from underneath your car or quickly open your car, pop the bonnet and then lock the car back up again. Then you can disable the main unit or take the negative off the battery to disable the alarm if its inside the cabin.

Good luck

erms.. i think its something wrong with my remote... the light comes on but there might be something wrong with it.. i just changed new batteries toady.... the sender fromt he remote might b broken.. is that possible???

i dont know where the alarm unit is in my car.. aehaeheh because i dont know what it looks like.. all i can see is the siren... which is connected to something inside my car.. not sure what tho..
my immobiliser doesnt allow me to get to an alarm specialist.. ahah so yeahs.. atm.. i cant move my car...

most of the time, it is the remote.
and you only have one remote?
what brand is it?
you should try ring up the company.
sometimes you can send the remote to them, and they'll fix it up, or supply you with a new one, or 2 if you wanted.

thats my only problem...
i bought the car with the alarm.. = )
dont know the brand, specs or anything...
if i did.. id probably know how to disarm it without the control... ahah

is it possible to go to a audio place and make a replica of my remote??
it might be my remote thats why.. hehe...

also, the unit is underneath your dash, well 99.9% of the time.
so if you can get underneath your dash, you might be able to see the brand of alarm you got with the model number.

goto a Alarm shop and they should be able to figure out what alarm it is and also program another remote into it for you so as to fix your problem.
Dsire 4 SOund does this. The're in Mt Prichard (NSW). That's where i got my alarm done. Otherwise find one near you to have a look at it.

i have the same problem with my alarm too... i had to turn my alarm off and i've been opening and closing the door with key now.

i had two remote but both doesn't work (it's not the battery)... i went to honda (Warwick Farm) about it and they said i had to replace the whole central locking/alarm thing... it will cost like nearly $1000 because they have to make a new set of keys for me and stuff... they never actually gave me a proper answer on why it happened or how to fix it or anything. so i'm going to ask another honda place and see what they say.

i've been looking into other options like maybe after market thing.

Help... my civic VTi Repeller alarm is also driving me nuts.... I am thinking of getting it replaced, is it okay to do so? Cause I am not sure how the immobiliser comes in to the picture here.

My previous car, I just change the stock alarm, put in few sensors, microwave, shock, auto locking, etc.... then put in immobiliser. But this Civic comes with a immobiliser key which built in the key.

yes no point of really double imobbiliser eh ( but i haf read that its some how 'easy' to bypass dont quote me)
alarm mainly for the contents of ur car (stereo etc )
good investment if go tgoodies
