Can the starter motor from a D16y8 be used on a B-series?

With the mounts. You keep the d16 frame mounts, its just the engine mounts that need to be replaced? So that would be rear, left, right, gearbox and AC mounts?

I have a chipped P28 in my car atm, if i just get the chip remapped with the specific stock rom for the motor i choose, ill be right?

it may be able to be done - but would be a lot easier to use the B series. save time and probably money in the long run. hope this helped

SO if i get the B18C motor, i need all the b18c motor mounts and all the b18c chassis mounts. so the Dc2 chassis mounts fit EK fine then?

u CAN use your D-series MOUNTS but you will need B-series BRACKETS.

A "MOUNT" IS THE RUBBER PART.. A "BRACKET" IS THE METAL PART THAT CONECTS THE ENGINE TO THE MOUNT.

to use your D-series say power steering pump or Air con compressor, u need the B-series BRACKETS.
