Clutch Help Please

hey guiys i got a dc2 vtir, stocky at the moment.

i think i got a clutch issue,
has anyone had these symptoms?

sometimes when i drive the car eg: its in 3rd gear.
and all of a sudden it will pop out into nuteral. and i have to put it back in, by putting the clutch all the way in.


and sometimes even when its in gear it goes into nuetral. the revs go up but the car doesntr go anywhere, (ONLY HAPPEND ONCE)

this happened started happening after WSID, had take offs most likly the cause from semi slicks i have.




my box doesnt crunch, so whats the problem?

is it the box or clutch?

Sounds like the clutch to me, but not sure, mine had similar symptoms, slipping not going anywhere, and coming out of gear very easily without using the clutch. Put your car in 5th up a hill, if it starts too slip, its definatley your clutch.

Get it checked by a mechanic, or just take the box off and you'll see what it is.

yeah simple test i learnt from an american site, just put it in 4th or 5th gear on a flat road, on low kilometres, say 60, floor it and if the revs dont seem to match the increase in speed, then it may be your clutch.
