hey all.
i just got a brand new set of rims sent interastate and it came with two 10g weights. just wondering what these are for.

They are used to balance the wheel to prevent vibrations, gives you a smoother ride.... An unbalanced wheel athigh speeds, you tend to feel the steering wheel vibrate (which is a sign that your wheel needs balancing).
Basically no wheel/rim combo is perfectly balanced, some part of it will be heavier and therefore the weights are put on the opposite side of the heavier part to counter it...

they just gave me the weights. no idea where to put them. dunno which wheel

You need to take it to the tyre shop and have them put it on a wheel balancer... You can't do it yourself.....

Lol.. bad luck about that. Shouldn't cost too much, itll cost much less getting it done locally then sending it back interstate :D

they look like lil plates on the inside of the rim?
are those the lil weights u r talking bout/

for some reason they came with my rims but not on them. WTF
