HELP WITH EG PROBLEM!!!

the stupid boot light on the dash of my civic keeps flicking on and off... its screwing up my alarm!!! does anyone know how to disconnect the wiring so it doesnt turn on until i get it fixed???

Egs have a problem with the latching system... theres a latch either side of the tailgate(asuming you have a hatch) make sure both are locked before closing the rear window. I used to get the same thing.

yeah. just make sure BOTH sides click in when u close it.
