You forgot to include BOTH.

How would you explain that in your TAX papers:)

i use my dc2R on the wkends. i drive a 180sx to and from work mon-fri. i might be using da dc for both now as the 180sx is using way too much fuel. just costly to run 2 cars. planning on selling the 180sx soon.

I use my typeR for everything, I basically fill the back up with photographic equipment, even with the rear seats down and parcel shelf out I still manage to fill it and drive to photoshoots etc.

and I do all this on track 16kg & 14kg coilovers lol, and yes its bumpy as f**k

oh and I also take it out to Mallala Raceway when I get the chance for some weekend fun :D

ummm actually man there are a quite a few ppl with tegs as company cars

obviously i'm talking dc5's and not dc2's as they usually only keep them for 3 years then trade in for a new one

I find if I drive my ITR everyday I dont appreciate it as much. IF i drive a shitter through the week then drive the R after that I appreciate it so much more.

HAHAHA.
the only worry is the building of Ks!!!
but on a 99 00 model you would have paid a desent price for it so i wouldnt realy worry hey.
i say why fork out the cash for nice car when u can only drive it once a week????

i baught a brand new S15 years ago and i drove it every day till the day i sold it!!!

I dont understand this weekend thing? Keeping a car only for weekend use? Whats the point in having it then? How is the weekend any different from the weekdays? Unless u guys are doing a SH*TLOAD of k's during the weekdays, id rather just drive it everywhere.

I drive mine every day to work, ~30km's into the city. It hasn't once missed a beat :) Its actually pretty economical too in slow-moving traffic (don't even get a chance to rev above 3krpm normally)

the whold idea of a weekend car is for a couple of reasons,
* uses too much fuel
* wanna keep the kms down
* dont want to damage it unnessacerily..

where as your comuter car can be used as a car purly for just driving round in and if the unfortnuate dose happen to your weekend warrior you still have the other car too....

Using your car for work has tax benefits...
not only that.. but you dont have to pay for 2 x green slip, 2 x insurance, 2 x rego... and 2 x the amount of maintenance you do to your car ;)
