comptech intake

hey fella's jus wondering can you replace the filter that the comptech system comes with? with say an apexi or k&n? do they fit inside the box? easy 2 get right size diameter for inlet tube?
Thinkin bout getting 1 soon and dont really like the idea of running the comptech filter

is comptec the standard airbox? cos if it is u will need to mod the box a bit. It fit in length and width but not height and u will need to change the inlet tube so the pod can fit in
